How do I use the airports search form?

Modified on Mon, 1 Jun at 5:19 PM

The airports search form offers several flexible ways to find the airport you are looking for. You can search by name, code, or location — here is an overview of each option.

Search by name

Enter a city or airport name and the platform will dynamically suggest matching options in a dropdown list as you type. Select an airport from the dropdown to be taken directly to its detail page.

Search by country or state

If you would like to browse all airports within a specific country or state, select the relevant country or state from the search form to generate a full list of results.

Search by code

You can also search directly using any of the following airport codes:

  • IATA code – The standard three-character airport code (e.g. JFK, LHR)
  • ICAO code – The four-character code used in aviation operations (e.g. KJFK, EGLL)
  • Alternative codes – Including codes used by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for US airports that do not have an IATA or ICAO code

Search results

If you select an airport directly from the dropdown list, you will be taken immediately to its detail page. If you do not select from the dropdown, the platform will present you with a full list of matching search results to browse.
