ch-aviation capacity data is updated on a weekly basis and draws on schedule information from a wide range of operators across the industry.

Where the data comes from

ch-aviation has partnered with OAG Aviation Worldwide Limited, one of the leading providers of airline schedule data. Through this partnership, we receive weekly schedule updates covering the vast majority of scheduled passenger operators, as well as a number of charter and cargo carriers.

This schedule data is then combined with our own ch-aviation fleet data to calculate the capacity figures you see on the platform.

Data quality and accuracy

ch-aviation applies a wide range of data integrity checks to correct and improve the quality of the data received from operators. That said, the capacity data is ultimately dependent on what operators initially file and submit, which means we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy at any given time.
